BCC LIFE RANKED AMONG THE WORLD’S TOP INSURANCE COMPANIES IN THE S&P GLOBAL CSA ASSESSMENT

Almaty, 30 October 2026. BCC Life Life Insurance Company JSC received a score of 55 out of 100 in the international S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (S&P Global CSA). BCC Life’s result exceeds the market average and demonstrates the company’s commitment to the principles of sustainable development, continuous improvement in corporate governance and responsible business practices.
The company achieved its highest scores in the social (S – 68 points) and governance (G – 63 points) aspects. Its score for the environmental aspect (E) was 7 points.
For BCC Life, sustainable development is an integral part of its long-term strategy, which is aimed at strengthening customer trust, fostering a culture of life insurance and enhancing the financial security of the population. The company consistently integrates sustainability principles into its operations by continuously improving its corporate practices and approaches to stakeholder engagement.
It is also particularly noteworthy that BCC Life is the first life insurance company in Kazakhstan to publicly disclose the results of an international ESG assessment, demonstrating its commitment to transparent dialogue and responsible business practices.
We do not simply receive a score — we openly share our results and continue moving forward.
“For us, sustainable development is first and foremost about our responsibility to our clients, society and future generations. The results of the S&P Global CSA assessment underscore the importance of our systematic efforts in this area and our commitment to upholding high international standards. We view BCC Life’s achievements as part of the broader BCC Group sustainability strategy, which places particular emphasis on responsible business practices and long-term resilience,” said Gulzhan Jaxymbetova, Chairperson of the Management Board of BCC Life.
The results achieved reflect not only BCC Life’s own efforts but also the commitment of the entire BCC Group to its sustainable development strategy. The Group places particular emphasis on integrating ESG principles into its operations, conducting business responsibly and creating long-term value for clients, society and the economy of Kazakhstan. It is worth noting that in 2026, Bank CenterCredit improved its S&P Global CSA corporate sustainability score to 78 out of 100, up from 75 a year earlier.
The S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) is an annual assessment of corporate sustainability practices covering the environmental, social, governance and economic aspects of companies’ operations. The assessment is conducted on a scale of 0 to 100 in accordance with S&P Global’s industry-specific methodology and enables comparisons of how companies manage ESG factors and disclose relevant information.
For BCC Life, the S&P Global CSA assessment is not only an opportunity to benchmark its performance against international practices, but also a tool for identifying future sustainability priorities. An independent assessment helps the company identify its strengths, determine areas for improvement and consistently enhance the quality of its corporate practices. As clients, partners and financial markets increasingly focus on ESG factors, these results take on particular significance, enhancing the transparency of the company’s operations and strengthening trust in it.
